Getting married during winter can pose some problems particularly on your makeup. You can win this over by following these tips so you will look fresh and striking with your wedding makeup.
The cold makes the skin dry so you need to have a sequence of deep exfoliations. Drink plenty of water to hydrate skin so it will look fresh.
Apply a moderate amount of moisturizer on the face and lips. Leave it on for 10 minutes. Give your lips extra moisture by applying another layer of lip balm.
Choose a matte finish primer for your face for a satin-finish.
Use foundation that is closest to your skin color. A lighter shade is fine. Ensure that it is long-wearing, oil-free and matte. Apply a moderately darker foundation on your cheeks and top it off with a neutral crimson blusher. This will make you look perfect in photos. Do not use pink to keep from looking frost-bitten and cold.
Add a little highlight on the cheeks. Use a silver highlight on the bridge of your nose for a natural glow.
Use liquid black liner with a thin tiny tip. Dab a soft pink shadow all over your lid. Define the outer corner of your eye by applying a matte brown shadow. Brighten eyes by adding a few gold and silver touches on the inner corners of your eye and brow bone. Apply waterproof mascara on the lashes.
For lipstick, choose berry, deep plum, chocolate, berry or maroon. Soft brown with a little gold glitter is an option if you are less daring. Apply plenty of gloss to keep it shiny and bright.
The above winter wedding makeup tips will help you to look dazzling in spite of the cold.
